At least if you are not around the age of 10 and consider a PS2 or Xbox to be a retro console. It is more like semi-realistic with a little roleplay touch perhaps, but definitely not old school. I also don´t get what you wrote about the style of your texture pack ('quite, arcadey, old school console in colour and style.') since this description doesn´t fit at all. The stone looks too shiny and polished for my taste and the wool looks more like leather because it lacks the fluffy feeling that it should have. I especially like the curled sand and the dirt with these bright spots in it.

These are some really professional looking textures, which isn´t surprising judging by your background.
